Punahele tonnelier

Both Stéphane and I are excited to share this new journey with everyone. The restoration of the building's interior and the overall decor design have been an adventure in itself for us. In addition to being an exceptional Chef, Stéphane is also incredibly talented in woodworking; fully restoring our front of house - dining area. This has been a labor of love that he has thrown himself into for the past 11 months with absolutely gorgeous results. The original wood flooring has been fully restored, the original ceiling tiles were also restored and hung as wall treatments. Our beautiful feature wall along with the kitchen's swing door was created and done with refurbished wood fencing, with our outdoor tables being made from the building's original ceiling beams. The restaurant's highlight (as well as Stéphane's favored project) is the "bar" countertop that he has made from a live-edge slab of Monterey Pine, along with our Chef's Table and high-top pub table that he has made from live-edge Eucalyptus slabs. Merci beaucoup et Mahalo nui loa to Del Barba family and Cline vineyards for donating wine barrels to house our bar and pub table-tops.
